SI-ZG-5A
Epoxy Resin
A low viscosity resin is the key to obtaining a high quality void-free composite laminate when processes such as filament winding, resin transfer molding (RTM), and vacuum assisted resin transfer molding (VaRTM) are used. SI-ZG-5A (Boeing MMS-5301) is a unique blend of several oxirane-based resins to achieve a low viscosity matrix suitable for VaRTM, RTM, filament winding, or pultrusion. A prepolymer of these resins can also be made for prepreg suitable for autoclave curing.
