SI-BMU-1


The SI-BMU-1 is a high temperature resin system developed for use in the resin transfer molding (RTM) and prepreg processes. The resin system has a fairly short pot life of 6 hours at 200°F. The SI-BMU-1 is a unique resin system in the fact that it can be mixed as a 1-component system or a 2-component system depending on the final cure temperature. If the final cure is 600°F the 1-component system is acceptable; however, a cure temperature less than 600°F requires the 2-component system.
